Kate goes through a lot of hard things in her story, like chasing after trains and being forced to work in a salt mine. But Kate’s sharp wit and respect for things that are old help her stand out as a welcome main character.

Robin Ayou

Anyone who goes to Planet 4546B on their own deserves a lot of praise, and that is exactly what the main character of Subnautica: Below Zero, Robin Ayou, does. The planet is mostly frozen and full of leviathans and other strange sea creatures. It is not a glamorous or inviting place for humans to live.

Robin doesn’t let the terrible things that happened to the people on The Aurora from Subanautica stop her from trying to find out what happened to her sister. Her pioneering spirit, toughness, and ability to change should earn her a place in the history of exploring and finding new things in sci-fi games.

Miu Hinasaki

Miu was brought into the ghostly world of Fatal Frame by a spirit ritual. She gets caught up in a scary story to find out what happened to her parents and ancestors. Miu shows herself to be a brave and courageous main character who cares deeply about the story of the series. She is haunted by scary ghosts and has only the Camera Obsurca to protect herself.

Miu looks innocent, but she is just as smart and careful as many of the other main characters in the series. Even though Yuri is the fan favorite for obvious reasons, Miu is a great heroine and deserves to be seen as one of the show’s stars.

Emily was born to an Empress and an assassin. She is a mix of elegance and violence, style and efficiency, and kindness and anger. Her abilities are just as cool as, if not cooler than, those of her father, which players saw in the prequel game Dishonored. Emily is just as good at her job and efficient, but the problems she faces may be harder than those in the first book. However, her unique skills like “far reach” and “domino” give her the potential to be even more creative.

When most people think of Dishonored, they think of the sword-wielding, hooded Corvo. However, they shouldn’t forget his badass daughter, Emily Kaldwin, who is the rightful Empress.

Mirror’s Edge and its sequel are based on real life. Shadow’s Edge: The way Faith moves while running in Catalyst really shows off her physical strength and agility. Faith is a great face for a unique franchise. Her red shoes and “eye of Horus” tattoo make her stand out.

No One Lives Forever is a game that should have been remastered a long time ago. This style of spy FPS is fondly remembered by all who played it after it came out for PC and PlayStation 2 in 2000. The main character, a woman named Catherine “Cate” Archer, is a big reason for this. Archer, whose code name is “The Fox,” is a careful mix of lighthearted humor and deadly accuracy.

Cate fights the bad guys at H.A.R.M. by herself. She is good with everything from sniper rifles to samurai katanas, and her adventures include everything from snowmobile chases to parachute jumps. Kit Harris, who also did the voice of Halo’s Cortana, gives Cate a beautiful voice.

Charlotte McBurney’s amazing French accent, along with her passion and sincerity, make Amicia one of the best video game characters of all time. When the second game, Flappy Bird, came out, it gave fans another chance to enjoy and celebrate this amazing young woman and her brave actions in medieval France.

Five years before Detroit: Become Human came out, in 2013, Quantic Dream made a short animated film called “Kara.” In it, a robot girl had her first thoughts and feelings for the first time. Kara would become one of the game’s main characters in the end. Kara stands out as a sensitive, smart person with a parental instinct in the dystopian future city of broken-down Detroit, where some people are less caring than she is.

Her clever and creative way of getting away from the whole city while taking care of the neglected child Alice makes for a truly memorable experience. Valorie Curry’s performance of Kara perfectly shows how she goes from being an obedient, quiet, and submissive machine to a free-thinking, open-minded person.
