Top Resorts for Your Next Vacation to Chile

Are you planning a visit to Chile? Read on and you might find a resort for your stay. Or even if you are not traveling, this list might compel you to book a flight as soon as possible, because some of these locations are pure heaven.

Latin America is one of the best continents to travel to if you love traveling for nature. From lush mountains, and volcanoes to deserts and scenic beaches, Latin America has it all. If you are like me and find it hard to decide over beaches or mountains, I would recommend going to Chile.

A famous legend about Chile is that when God made the entire world, He had some leftover bits of mountains, lakes, rivers, glaciers, forests, and volcanoes. He tossed them over South America’s Pacific Coast and Chile was born. You can get everything you want in Chile. North of the country has the Atacama Desert, Patagonia has glaciers, and the beaches have the perfect coastal climate.

Let’s have a look at some of the best lodging options Chile has to offer. I have personally experienced some of these while others come highly recommended by fellow travelers and friends.

You should book these well ahead to get good deals. I once lost a really good deal because there was a sudden outage in my area. It was beyond frustrating. You can avoid that by getting a dependable connection like Spectrum. Spectrum servicio al cliente español is great for immediate assistance too.

Now let us get to what you all are here for.

Tierra Patagonia Hotel

Located in Torres Del Paine National Park, this one is an all-inclusive adventure resort. If you want a luxury-ridden adventurous getaway, then you should consider Tierra Patagonia. Built in the wilderness of the Torres Del Paine, the hotel offers fun excursions into the wilderness, led by professional guides.

It also has an outstanding spa.  Its heated indoor infinity swimming pool has hydro-massage jets. You can relax while looking at the amazing views. Lake Sarmiento, the Patagonian wildlife, and glacial landscapes are a part of the hotel’s majestic views. The hotel also has an outdoor hot tub with soothing warm water.

Nayara Alto Atacama

Also an all-inclusive luxury hotel, Nayara Alto Atacama lets you embrace what Atacama Desert has to offer but in a modern way. The location is a 10-minute drive away from San Pedro de Atacama, a town in Chile. This means you get to enjoy the peace and quiet, while still being close to civilization.

The hotel is surrounded by the red-hued terracotta mountains. Since it is built from locally sourced materials, therefore the hotel perfectly blends into its landscape. It is built in the typical Atacameño style, with adobe. This gives you a break from the dull, modern minimalistic architecture common in every hotel.

The hotel allows you access to cactus gardens just outside the rooms, colorful flamingos in their natural habitat, and the Llama coral. You can also sign up for outdoor activities like hiking, mountain hikes, or serene star gazing.

What’s better is that everything you do here is designed to be eco-friendly. Nayara Alto Atacama also offers modern Chilean dishes, made from local and seasonal ingredients. A close friend highly recommended it to me, due to its amazing food.

Vira Vira by &Beyond

If you want a luxury and environmental-friendly experience, then I recommend you to try Vira Vira. I visited last year in July and was pleasantly surprised by its location. It is located in the Araucanía region of Chile’s Lake District. It is an intimate hotel with a handful of suites and villas. The staff gives you attention to make you feel at home.

This resort in Chile has amazing views which include glacial lakes, snow-capped Villarica Volcano, and the flora and fauna of the nearby rainforest. As cliché as it sounds, the views will make you feel like you are in heaven. The lodge is a wooden one, with enormous windows that will make you feel like you are a part of nature. The internal décor features traditional items like handwoven tapestries and textiles.

The best part? It has a modern working farm and an organic farm-to-table vegetable garden. This means your meals will be as fresh as they can get and truly organic. The onsite cheese factory had a boutique vibe, where I admittedly overate at least a couple of times.

Termas Aguas Calientes

Located at the foot of the Andes Mountains, Termas Aguas Calientes can be found at the Puyehue National Park in the Los Lagos region. This lodging option is for the adventurous kind as it is not an all-inclusive resort.

With the freedom of staying in separate staying facilities like shelters or domes, you can experience being in nature while remaining comfortable. I personally like this freedom, without the house help knocking at my door every two hours. The property also provides two thermal pools which have water from nearby natural springs.

The outdoor activities and excursions are self-guided. So only opt for this if you are a true adventurer at heart and like the risk of it. You can spend the days trekking and exploring the majestic Puyehue National Park and get bikes to ride around Lake Puyehue.

Conclusion

Chile has a lot to offer as a South American vacation country. It is safe and has every natural attraction you can possibly think of. Choosing the best lodging can amp up your trip and you can have the best time of your life.
