  1. Norfolk Botanical Garden

The Norfolk Botanical Garden, located in the middle of Norfolk, Virginia, is one of the most beautiful destinations to visit. It occupies 175 acres of land-maintained ground and is home to more than 50 amazing gardens. Each of the many gardens has its own distinct theme, the beauty of which cannot be emphasised. The garden, in its current form, was in 1955. Since then, changes in the topography and the expanse of the site have made the Norfolk Botanical Garden a popular attraction.  

  1. USS Wisconsin

The USS Wisconsin is a battleship stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. A visit to the USS Wisconsin gives you the unique opportunity to board a real Naval ship. Once aboard, you’ll have the option of exploring the ship’s deck on your own or with a guide; the choice is yours. As such, this significant attraction is a must-see. The USS Wisconsin was following its service in Operation Desert Storm in the 1990s. This historic artefact has been in Norfolk as a museum since that period.

Selden Market, located in downtown Norfolk, is a local favourite. Selden Market, housed in a historic structure, is one of the best places to go for a unique and local shopping experience. The indoor market is home to a diverse variety of merchants and vendors, some of whom have established a permanent presence while others come and go. Nonetheless, Selden Market boasts a superb lineup of stores, food purveyors, and more all in one huge space. Selden Market also holds pop-up events including wellness seminars and children’s activities.

The Chrysler Museum of Art is a fantastic art museum and one of the few free things to do in Norfolk, Virginia. With an amazing 50 galleries and over 30,000 works of art on exhibit, you’d be remiss to miss out on a visit to this world-class museum. The museum’s extensive collection includes glass, ornamental arts, photography, and other media. The Chrysler Museum of Art also exhibits pieces of modern, contemporary, American, European, and ancient art.

Ocean View Beach Park, one of the top tourist locations, is exactly what it sounds like a nice public park with spectacular ocean views. Locals have dubbed this roughly seven-acre park “the jewel of Ocean View” since it is in the heart of Norfolk, Virginia. The Moses Myers House is a historic mansion from the nineteenth century that belonged to Jewish merchant Moses Myers. Built-in 1792, the house is a lovely recreation of late-1700s life. The mansion was down through the generations, but it was the state of Virginia in the 1930s. A tour will allow you to wander the corridors of a maintained and renovated historic home.
